Open House
Archbishop Prendergast will have Open House on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 11am – 1pm. Tours will be provided for students and their families. Faculty, Coaches and Staff will be available to answer questions.
Eighth Grade Visitation Day
Eighth Grade Visitation Day is Thursday, November 18, 2010. For young women presently in the eighth grade this is a great opportunity to experience high school life and meet future classmates. Students will report at 8:30am and follow a roster to the various classes. Dismissal will be approximately 1:30pm. The school will provide lunch for the students
Registration
Registration will be held at any Open House event and Thursday evening, November 18th from 6 to 8pm. Registration will continue throughout the school year. For a copy of the Admissions Application, click here
Scholarship Exam
Students will have two opportunities to take the Scholarship Exam. Students may take the exam on either October 31st or December 5th at 8:30am.. For a Scholarship Test Application, please click here.
7th and 6th Practice Scholarship Exam/Open House
The 7th and 6th Practice Scholarship Exam/Open House will take place on April 3, 2011 from 10am to 2pm. Students in 7th and 6th grades have an opportunity to take a Practice Scholarship Exam to help them become familiar with the types of the questions they will see on the Scholarship Exam as 8th graders. Admissions Procedure
Archbishop Prendergast prides itself on maintaining their traditions of providing a single gender, community based Catholic education. Admission to Archbishop Prendergast does not require any admission testing. Your application for admission to 9th grade is based upon your successful completion of 8th grade. Completion of the Admissions Application does not necessarily guarantee admission.
9th Grade Registration
Students who wish to enroll can do so by requesting registration information at 610-259-0265 or by visiting the website (www.prendie.com). Registration is accepted throughout the school year, with a formal Registration Night and at any Open House. The completed registration forms may be returned by mail or in person. Registrations accepted after June 1st will not necessarily guarantee placement. It is important the school be made aware of any special needs of a prospective student. Upper class Registration (Grades 10, 11, 12)
Please mail or fax (Prendergast 610-259-3676) copies of the following information to the attention of the Director of Campus Admissions:
• Official and complete academic, discipline, and attendance records for the previous two years.
• Last standardized test taken.
Archbishop Prendergast generally considers for admission only students who have demonstrated satisfactory academic, discipline, and attendance performance. Archbishop Prendergast may not consider for admission students with academic failures at the time of the application.
