The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
THE MOST HOLY EUCHARIST
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: “The Eucharist is ‘the source and summit of the Christian life.’ The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it.”
Mass is celebrated with the entire student body on a regular basis. It is for us the celebration of our unity as the Body of Christ. Mass is also celebrated before school begins on designated for those faculty and students who wish to participate. We welcome to these celebrations those students and faculty who are not of the Catholic faith to unite with us in prayer, even though we cannot invite them to receive communion.
During the school year, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated every day at 7:15AM. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Mass is celebrated in the St. Katherine Drexel Chapel in the Prendie building. Tuesday and Thursday Mass is celebrated in the Bonner Chapel.
All are invited to participate.
